Eric Welty is the President of Noovis, LLC, an innovative fiber optic and wireless technology integrator based in Hanover, MD. He co-founded Noovis in 2014 bringing with him over 20 years of technology leadership, program management expertise, and team-building experience to his position with the company.
In his current role, Eric Welty oversees commercial and federal service arms supporting Noovis’ clients nationwide. He leads technology integration strategies via the Noovis Innovation Center, designed to drive next generation solutions for clients and partners across the industry.
Before joining Noovis, Eric Welty’s experience included over 19 years at Verizon Communications. His diverse background spanned union and management positions in Outside Plant maintenance, Network Engineering and Planning and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) initiatives. During his time at Verizon, he led Maryland’s Capital Management team with responsibility for making over 200k homes “ready for sales” while maintaining a $200M Capital budget annually. Welty championed innovative solutions, leading the Verizon, Federal Network Systems, Fiber to the Desktop (FTTD) product line, deploying state of the art networks for the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.
Mr. Welty earned a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Science from Stevenson University. Additionally, he is a United States Navy veteran, serving honorably in Operation Desert Storm and maintains a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
